Imsouane was originally a working place for fishermen and almost no family lived here. Imsouane is a large area that stretches from Tilit to the sand dunes of Tamri. Surfing in Morocco has grown exponentially over the past 15 years, and Imsouane had become a secret to the few who knew the location. Fortunately for you, and unfortunately for some others, this little paradise couldn't be kept secret forever. The bay has one of the longest waves in the world, but very gentle and forgiving for any surf level, so everyone can have fun in these endless waves. Berber culture also has a lot to offer; an ancestral and authentic Moroccan culture often forgotten by the world.
Welcome to one of the longest wave of Africa.
The Magic Bay is a right-hander pointbreak breaking over a sandy bottom that provides perfect forgiving waves for all surfers. It has fewer other peaks so that surfers have the space to find waves and learn to surf safely or to improve their skills.
This spot is very famous for longboarders and because of its high consistency of surf! If it's onshore and small anywhere else on the coast, The Magic Bay will still be offering some nice, long & mellow rides.
The Cathedral has various type of breaks ideal for surfers that are looking for more powerful waves.
The Reef is the first spot on the far left of the Cathedral. When the swell and the tides are meeting together, the wave will remind you of Indonesian wave from a surf magazine.
The Beach break is breaking in the middle of the cathedral, with a variety of peaks depending on the sand banc, you'll find many A frames (Left & Right).
The Point is on the back right side of the Cathedral. If you are experienced enough you might have the chance to enjoy this powerful wave that only works at best during LOW TIDE.
